Workshops with Adrianna: spend more time with your abdomen and viscera to deepen the relationship you have with your centre, create time to improve your connection of roots to crown, enable a deep dive in to abdominal healing, widen your relationship with breath release and recieve, discover your affiliation to the Earth's elements and those which you are made of.
Building & Layering Central Body Strength.✨This workshop will ease the body to release dysfunctional muscular holding patterns, before moving it through liberating and opening actions, preparing for intensive core strength building exercises. 🐱🏍 Aimed at those who enjoy feeling strong & grounded through conscious liberating and invigorating movement, those who want more balance with movement & breath (pranayama) and those who know or would liike to invite more body and mind recuperation. 🦋
The Abdominal Space: Nature, Nurture & Engage Part 1 & Part 2.Adrianna is an abdominal viscera manipulation therapist and invites you to be guided towards sensing and identifying abdominal restrictions. This will be a journey to discover the map of your own viscera (organs), palpating (touching) with your fingers. 🤲 You will learn reflex points of the feet (groups of nerve endings that relate to viscera) helping you to identify and understand any areas of tenderness. 🦶 Any stickiness in your digestive system will be stimulated towards healthy function through Yoga Therapy for Digestive Health, Feldenkrais and Somatic movement, identifying areas within your core that need you to deeply surrender and to sooth. 🦋 We will be covering the Viscera, related muscle groups such as the Psoas, Abdominal Girdle, Pelvic Sling and the Spiral Lines of the internal Fascial System to release restrictions and create more space. Aimed at those who know and feel how tension in their belly is restricting movement, digestion and emotional patterns, those who are holding on too tightly to physical and emotional stories and those with past surgeries, birth trauma and digestive ailments. Part 2 leads on from the body knowledge learnt in Part 1.
The Functional Body Space: Living Without Pain. ✨In this space we will identify your posture dysfunctions, introduce you to the possibility of a pain free functional body where movements for which your body was made (walk, run, jump & throw) can return; those muscle groups that sitting, driving and slumping do not engage!🤦 Using Pete Egoscue's methodology and pulling in Anatomy Trains knowledge we will look to provide immediate pain relief for those that are in physical and emotional pain, teach you ways to relieve the body from pain through the disengagement of muscle groups that are over used and teach you an exercise platform to reset your body so you may walk more comfortably. 🐱🏍 Take home exercises will be crucial for your upkeep if you intend to take your postural health seriously and live without the 'rounded shoulders' or 'one leg longer than the other' labels.😉 Aimed at those who are in permanent or temporary muscular-skeletal pain or those who have been given labels by the health system without helpful insights, especially those not told what their inadequate posture means. Bring your collapsing chest and shoulders, your injured bodies, your kyphosis/lordosis and your overly arched lower backs!🙈
